What we collect and why

• If you book a call or submit a form, we collect your name, work email, company, role and anything you write in the form. We use this to respond to you and, if you become a client, to deliver the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries, and performance of a contract where one follows.
• If you receive an email from us that you did not request, we obtained your business contact details from publicly available professional sources. We contact you because we believe our service is relevant to your role. Legal basis: legitimate interest. You can opt out at any time using the link in the email or by writing to us, and we will not contact you again.
• Our website uses analytics from PostHog to count visits, see which pages are read and whether a call was requested. We ask before using cookies. Unless you accept, no cookies are set and we only count anonymous visits that cannot be linked from one day to the next or to you. If you accept, PostHog sets cookies and uses local storage so that we can recognize a returning browser and understand visits across days. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. We do not record your screen or what you type into forms. Legal basis: consent for cookies, legitimate interest for anonymous counts. Analytics data is processed by PostHog on our behalf.

Who we share it with

Our scheduling provider (Cal.com), our email delivery provider (Resend), which delivers form requests to our inbox, our analytics provider (PostHog) and our hosting provider (Vercel), each acting on our instructions. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

Inquiry data for 12 months from last contact. Client data for the duration of the engagement and the retention period required for export-control records, currently five years.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to our use of your information. Write to max@clearenduse.com and we will respond within one month.
